In order to enhance the existing lighting I decided a reflector was in order, but where to find
one. Searching my digs turned up nothing so I decided I'd make one. My glance first fell on a
custard cup as having a nice curve so I poured some melted pariffin wax into it. After it cooled
I removed the wax, covered it with plastic wrap and did a paper mache covering. I did the paper
mache the quick and dirty way, wet strips of paper toweling and diluted "white" glue.

The finished thing looked good but it wasn't focused well and it was too small in diameter.
So, plan "B", design a reflector. A few of the *NIX tools to do a quick calculation for a
parabola, off to the printer, some scissor work and tape and another form for a reflector.
Since these are easy to print I make them part of the paper mache glue up.

Here are the resulting reflectors made with the template:

Here's a picture of the reflector and the anti-shake device in action and now you know why the
slits were cut into the reflectors. And, because the paper mache backing is thin, the magnet base
on the pedestal is still effective.
