The IOBO Flymph

Many years ago, I met Mark McMillan on the Frying Pan. After the day's fishing Mark showed me a flymph he tied in the IOBO style. It was a complicated tie and I didn't take notes, so I was never able to recreate it well. It has always had a place on the variations page. I'd been having good fortune with a nondescript gray flymph ten or more years ago and one day perused my own IOBO site and noticed I had a loop wing IOBO and figured I could combine Mark's flymph and my IOBO loop wing and make things simple by using two CDC feathers. That combination has proven to meet all the requirements of the IOBO series except it uses two CDC feathers. I finally decided to add step by step instructions and a video so that others who read this can give it a try.

Thanks Mark ... it took a long time for the old man to catch up.
